Marta przesłała nam opis form nadzoru w swojej pracy: „Monitoring jest w każdym pomieszczeniu oprócz łazienki, WC i kuchni. Szef nie wytłumaczył pracownikom powodów montażu kamer, stwierdził jedynie, że służą »kontroli jakości pracy«. Obiecał, że wejdzie specjalne zarządzenie dotyczące kamer. Minęło 1,5 roku i nic. Zarządzenia nie ma, kamery sobie pracują, a my nawet nie wiemy, co rejestrują (sam obraz czy może też dźwięk). Na komputerach mamy też zamontowany program szpiegujący – wiadomo, monitoring to za mało. Na początku nic nie wiedzieliśmy o tym programie. Jego istnienie odkrył przypadkiem jeden z pracowników, który trochę się zna na komputerach. Okazało się, że program robi wszystko: filtruje historię przeglądania i wysyła do szefa alerty, gdy wchodzi się na strony prywatne (poczta, rachunek bankowy), oblicza wydajność pracy, czas edycji jednego pliku itd.

Jak nadzór w pracy wpływa na Martę?: „Wieczne poczucie, że coś robię za wolno: za wolno czytam, piszę. Poczucie, że kogoś okradam z czasu, za który mi płaci. Choć, myśląc racjonalnie, wcale tak nie jest. Mimo to zostaję po godzinach, za które nikt mi nie płaci. Zauważyłam też, że stałam się o wiele bardziej nerwowa w życiu prywatnym: podnoszę głos, szybciej się irytuję.
